Words to Ditch for a More Confident 2025 💥

Writer's picture: Ellie Ellie

How’s your week going? I know this time of year can feel like a whirlwind, but I hope you’re managing to carve out a little time for yourself in the chaos.

Today, I want to share something simple that can have a BIG impact on how you show up in your business: your words.

Sometimes, the language we use can undermine the confidence we want to project, without us even realising it!

Words like “just,” “sorry,” and “quickly” might feel polite, but they can actually make you seem less self assured.

Here’s a quick challenge: Try ditching these phrases in your business communication:

❌ “I JUST wanted to check in…”

❌ “I’m so SORRY this is late…”

❌ “I wanted to QUICKLY ask if you’d mind…”

Instead, try rephrasing with clarity and confidence. Clients and colleagues will notice the difference!

When you stop using these words, people see you as:

✨ Confident

✨ An expert at what you do

✨ A trusted partner in their business

If this resonates, I’d love to help you take things further. Confidence is such a big part of building and growing your business and it’s one of the areas we can focus on in my new 1:1 sessions:

Perfect if you’re just starting out or finding your feet. We’ll dive into the essentials like client attraction, back-end systems, and building confidence in showing up authentically.

Designed for established Online Service Providers. If you’re ready to refine, streamline, or grow with intention, this is for you.

Both sessions are available at a special introductory price until the end of the year, so now’s the perfect time to book or reserve your spot for 2025!

Here’s to showing up confidently and creating the business you LOVE 💙

Much love,
